Revisiting this game now reminds me of Baba is You creator's game The Plumber Thing. Moss eater could be somewhat easily expanded to be "puzzle-metroidvania" like it. Maybe not on Môsi engine (idk actually,I'm not professional Môsi gamedev)
I keep coming back to this game...
